A Bigger Spectrum, written by Silas Amos, demonstrates the agility, flexibility and speed that digital print offers. The book is a collaborative effort of many minds and skills that push the boundaries of print to the limit – with the support of HP® Indigo, quality paper by G.F Smith and printing capabilities of F.E Burman.
The chapter openers showcase the ability to digitally print vibrant colours onto coloured paper stock by laying down a white ink first, a process reminiscent of screen-printing.
Each book is individually numbered, the first 200 (in an edition of 600) are personalised with the name of its intended recipient, and all feature a bespoke one-off art print by artist Supermundane. All of these features are made possible on press with the use of HP’s variable data technology.
